Not much to report, we sat out the garden at about 9:30pm when it was still very light and watched a pipstrelle bat flying backwards and forwards over the pond. It was a very warm evening, the wind was non-existent and the flying insects were in abundance.

Here are 3 pictures just to give you an idea how much the vegetation has taken off.

The pond is now looking a bit more established.

As you can see the gaps between the paving stones are now filling up well, hopefully most of the paving will be covered with the ground ivy etc. I know it sort of defeats the object of the stones but it does help with the maintenace.
