Well it's been a while since the last update, the plants are looking great and we have a few animal additions to the pond.

It's looking quite well established now and we spend many evenings sitting on the seat enjoying a drink and a bit of a bat watch.

Nice and green.

The stream had become rather overgrown so we tidied it up and cut back some of the vegetation.

A dragon fly nymph we think, we have many of then in the pond. When I was moving it it sprayed a liquid from it rear end, it sprayed approx 150mm. Don't know if this is some sort of defence mechanism.. Any thoughts?

It's on the move.

A newtlet in Alex's hand. There are hundreds of these in the pond. To get an idea of the size, Alex is 6 years old.

And one of the better snails to have is the Ramshorn. There are many baby ones too
