This is the original pond finished. Note the difference from now with the grass going right up to the water...Big mistake as I was to discover about 4 years later when it encroached so much the pond shrunk by about 3 feet as you will see from later pictures

This picture taken in the year 2000 from where the pond is looking to the rear. As you can see plenty of greenery.
Now you can see what I meant by the encroachment. I have not made the pond any larger but if you look at the current pictures you will be able to see how much bigger it appears.
So there you have it my little piece of heaven
